8"x5" hanging sign for CAVU - Ceiling and Visibility Unlimited. On the back of the sign it has an excerpt from a letter written at Kennebunkport on October 6, 2001, by George Bush to his children. He reflects upon his life and how fortunate he has been. 

"I had a little plaque made. It says CAVU. CAVU was the kind of weather we pilots wanted when we were to fly off our carrier in the Pacific [...] I will not pass it by without realizing how lucky I am, for this plaque describes my own life as it has been over the years, as it is right now.
